Dr. Donald Borger – Chiropractor

Dr. Donald Borger received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1979 from National College of Chiropractic (currently National University of Health Sciences), Lombard, Illinois after completing his undergraduate work at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA.  Dr. Borger opened his first chiropractic office in February of 1980 on Main Street in Schuylkill Haven.  Since that time his office has relocated to St. John’s Street and finally to its current location on Columbia Street.

In addition to providing injury and wellness chiropractic care, Dr. Donald is the Functional Medicine provider at Haven Chiropractic Center.  He is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, completing the program in 2014.  Dr. Donald also has a strong interest in chiropractic rehabilitation.  He is certified as an American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialist and has had extensive training in the McKenzie Method for Rehabilitation.  Dr. Don has worked hard to continue his post-graduate education attending numerous courses concerning nutrition, Neuromechanical Impulse Adjusting, and many other topics

In his spare time, Dr. Borger enjoys fishing and golfing.  He is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, as evident by the Phillies and Eagles pictures decorating the hallways in his office.

Dr. Borger has two children.  His daughter, Amy, is a physical therapist and resides with her husband, Ben, in Pennsylvania.  Dr. Borger’s son, Craig, has followed in his footsteps, and joined him in practice at Haven Chiropractic Center in 2010.

Dr. Borger resides in Lake Wynonah with his wife Rae Ann.

Dr. Craig Borger – Chiropractor

Dr. Craig is a 2010 graduate of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC).  He received his undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science at Gettysburg College.  He is a 2003 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.  In his time at NYCC, Dr. Craig’s clinical experience included work at two Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centers, a long-term care facility, a liberal arts college, and a student and community chiropractic clinic.

Dr. Craig tailors his treatment for both his injury and wellness patients.  The chiropractic treatment he provides typically centers around traditional manual chiropractic adjusting, though it is the presenting condition that will dictate his care.  His treatment also often includes instrument assisted adjusting with the Neuromechanical Impulse Adjusting Instrument, a FDA registered device specifically created to deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities to relieve pain and restore function. Dr. Craig will also frequently use flexion distraction therapy, drop table adjusting, myofascial release and muscle therapy, ultrasound, muscle stimulation, other other therapies during treatment.   Dr. Craig is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Craig shares his interest in Philadelphia sports with his father.  He resides in Schuylkill Haven with his wife, Vicky, and three sons, Owen, Evan and Grant.
